Pride and Prejudice with Homestuck (A SolKat fic)...
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat had run out in to the field, letting his dress drag in the mud.
chibikitsuneartist: He couldn’t believe that Lord Sollux would even do such horrible things,.
chibikitsuneartist: Rubbing his clawed hand against his face, trying to stop his tears, he could hear Sollux calling out to him.
chibikitsuneartist: “KK! KK, please come back!!”
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat turned around to see the noble man running after him.
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat ran away as fast as he could to get away from the man, not wanting to hear what he was going to say.
chibikitsuneartist: Despite trying, Sollux still managed to catch up to him.
chibikitsuneartist: “KK. What is wrong? Why are you so upset?”
chibikitsuneartist: He couldn’t bring himself to look him in the eyes.
chibikitsuneartist: He didn’t want to look at them, th eyes that forced him to fall in love with the person he hated so much.
chibikitsuneartist: Besides himself of course
chibikitsuneartist: “I don’t want to talk to you, fuckhole.”
chibikitsuneartist: Sollux chuckled to himself, ” That is no way for a lady to talk…” He grabbed Karkat’s arm, forcing him to turn towards the nobleman.
chibikitsuneartist: When he saw his face, he was suprised when he saw the red tears run down the grey face in front of him.
chibikitsuneartist: Sollux, with concern in his voice, cupped Karkat’s face, trying to force eye contact, “What is wrong?”
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat closed his eyes, refusing to look, tears still running down his face, ” Like you fucking care!”
chibikitsuneartist: The gentleman brought they faces closer together, ” Of course I do. You are the most important thing to me.”
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat opened his eyes, seeing the concern and love in the eyes looking back.
chibikitsuneartist: And then he got pissed. He ripped Sollux’s hands away from his face, and pushed him away.
chibikitsuneartist: “Like fucking hell I am! How can you fucking say those things?!”
chibikitsuneartist: The tears started to fall harder. Sollux tried walking forward but Karkat kept going backwards.
chibikitsuneartist: ‘What are you talking…”
chibikitsuneartist: “I saw you with Lady Feferi!”
chibikitsuneartist: “You might as well break out the buckets with the way you were dancing with her!”
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat looked to the ground, “And you know fucking what? I think you should just go back her.”
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat stop moving, and Sollux was staning infort of him now, not touching, not knowing what to do or say.
chibikitsuneartist: “She can give you a life that you could never have with me,” Karkat said through his sobs, “She can give you protection and money.
chibikitsuneartist: “With me…. with my disgusting blood, you could never have a life”
chibikitsuneartist: Sollux pulled Karkat into a hard kiss, one which the lord poured all of his emotions into.
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat, just letting the feelings take over him, kissed back.
chibikitsuneartist: Sollux was the first to pull away, holding on to Karkat’s hands. The red blood gave him a look that asking him why the fuck did he stopped.
chibikitsuneartist: ” I choose you. I will choose you over every fancy blood that will come my way.” Sollux placed kiss on top of his forehead.
chibikitsuneartist: “But…..” Karkat had started but Sollux silenced him with a short kiss.
chibikitsuneartist: When it ended, Karkat just laughed to himself, “You were always a dumb fucking asstwat.” he said with a smile
chibikitsuneartist: Sollux smiled back, “That’s why you fell for me isn’t it” He put his arm around Karkat’s back, placing his hand on the lower middle, just above his butt.
chibikitsuneartist: “Now come back inside, you have congrats to receive”
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat gave him a quesitoning look, ” For what” I haven’t done a fucking thing.”
chibikitsuneartist: The noble man just smiled, “Well, I expect that your sister, Nepeta, and Lady Feferi haven’t been able to keep their mouths shut for too long now.”
chibikitsuneartist: “Just say it say it shit head”
chibikitsuneartist: Sollux stopped walking and got down one knee.
chibikitsuneartist: “KK, will you make me the happiest man in all in all of Alternia?”
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat was shocked, at first.
chibikitsuneartist: He blushed and tried to hid his happiness with a scowl, ” I guess I fucking have to. It’s not like anyone else will have me.”
chibikitsuneartist: Sollux smiled again and placed an ring with a small yellow sapphire in the middle on his finger.
chibikitsuneartist: “I took awhile to get, but at least you will have a little reminder of me.”
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat, still scowling in embrassment, pulled Sollux in to a deep kiss.
chibikitsuneartist: From a distance away, the two heared a cheering.
chibikitsuneartist: Turning towards the house, they saw that everyone was watching them.
chibikitsuneartist: Karkat’s turned to a very deep shade of red.
chibikitsuneartist: ” HEY YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES! THIS ISN’T A FREE SHOW!!

thanks for all the suggestions last night. eventually i managed to sleep. i chewed down some calming herbal candies i had lying around and left the rainymood playing all through the night. did the trick just fine^^
in other news, it’s valentines day for half of the world already. i can sit back and watch my tumblr get filled with all the heartwarming posts while i do another 12hrs of work....

welp.
since i couldn’t fall asleep last night and still feel wide awake i got myself sleeping pills at a drug store. i come back home, look for dosage instructions at the box and whaddya know, it says ‘not for glaucoma patients’ (i don’t have glaucoma diagnosed but i am in a very high risk group, have to take annual tests and all).
oh well. no risk no fun, right?

oh joy, jet lag rant time
i’ve spent the entire night stirring in bed, waiting for the sleep to come. no success. full on jet lag, even though it’s been almost a week since i came back. and now i have to spend 12 hours at work with the headache of the month, even my korean is not coming out properly.
wish i could just curl up under my desk with a pillow and a blanket… TT^TT
